Sacred Nuraghic well of Sa Testa:
A most important sacred monument of the Bronze Age, it constitutes the only visible example of its kind in the whole of the North-East of Sardinia. It was excavated in the 1930's by Doro Levi, an event which marked a surge of interest in the period.

Nuraghic Fortress of Riu Mulinu or Cabu Abbas
A complex made up of small nuraghic buildings located on the peak of a hill and a large corral that encircles the summit. Excavated by Doro Levi in 1939. From the nuraghe comes the famous bronze of the "Portatrice d'Acqua" (The water carrier).
Aqueducts and Roman waterways at Sa Rugghittola
These are the best preserved examples of the ancient aqueducts which supplied the city in the flowering of the Imperial Age. Together with the Roman farms in the locality of S 'Imbalconadu, these are the only surviving Roman monuments it is possible to see in the North East of Sardinia. The vast Roman cistern positioned here was a part of a farm, now disappeared, and not of the aqueduct as is commonly believed.
