Olbia

Description

Also known by the name 'Gravile', from the 1960's, a period made splendid by the shows that took place here. You can reach it by taking the SS125 from Olbia towards Nuoro. Pass the Rio Padrongianus and turn left in the direction of Lido del Sole, after circuiting a lake, turn right into the track.
The beach is composed of clear, rather coarse sand with a sloping bottom. Of considerable interest to naturalists because of the lake which is a natural habitat for pink flamingos, herons and various species of aboriginal flora. There are hotels, restaurants and discos in the area.
