Confectioners

In Gallura there exists a tradition of sweets based on the use of honey and light pastries, utilized most of all for celebrations at Easter and Christmas. Here is just a short list of confectioners in Olbia offering high quality Sardinian products:
Colomba Codias - No publicity, zero promotion, just a locally crafted product of exceptional quality. From her shop in 12, via Australia (a few steps from the Bruno Nespoli playing field), Signora Codias counts upon a nucleus of loyal aficionados of her delicacies: papassinos, tiliccas, origlette and many more. And her customers are not only Sardinians. Tel. 0789-68226
Azara - Very popular among the tourists, perhaps for its very central location in 5f, via Galvani, Azara's pastry laboratory offers products from the island tradition, with some concessions having been granted to the international confectioners. Tel. 0789-54110

Occigano - There are some who would try to introduce foreign recipes into the carefully preserved Sardinian product range. Not so Pietro Occignano. Better then, to choose from this fine, faithful tradition, as does this little Gallurese business. Located in 16, via Talenti. Tel. 0789 58838
Loi - Almost by now a little chain: Loi confectioners. There exist, in fact, diverse branches, variously located in the city, managed by relatives, all coming from the same family tree. Great high quality production, in particular, of sweets from Barbagia. Offer also the possibility for expeditions in and around the peninsula. Sited in via Vespignani (Sa Minda Noa zone) Tel. 0789-50239
